Diamond tools for light guide plates and backlight molds
The fine V-grooves and prisms that spread light across a screen are cut into the mold with a single crystal diamond tool. The sharper and more even the tool edge, the more even the light. Bulunmaz makes V-groove, prism and edge-milling tools in natural diamond and MCD, as standard tools or to your drawing.

When diamond is the right choice
Single crystal diamond is the standard tool for the molds, where groove shape decides the light. Cutting V-grooves directly into acrylic sheets is a different job on a different machine. For that, send us your machine and sheet details and we'll check case by case.
Who we supply
Bulunmaz makes and supplies diamond tools for mold makers and display part makers that run their own machines. We do not make light guide plates or optical films. If you run the machine, we supply the tool for it.
