Diamond tools for contact lens and IOL lathes
Lathe-cut contact lenses and intraocular lenses are shaped by a single crystal diamond tool, and the tool edge decides whether the lens needs polishing afterwards. Bulunmaz makes turning tools, inserts and haptic milling cutters in natural diamond and MCD, as standard tools or to your drawing.

When diamond is the right choice
Single crystal diamond is for contact lenses, intraocular lenses and their mold inserts. Generating spectacle lenses is a different job, usually done with PCD tools. Before we quote, we check that the tool fits your lathe's holder.
Who we supply
Bulunmaz makes and supplies diamond tools for lens laboratories and manufacturers that run their own lathes. We do not make lenses. If you run the machine, we supply the tool for it.
