Diamond turning tools for optics and lens molds
In single point diamond turning, the tool edge is copied directly onto the optical surface. That is why these tools are made one by one, to the radius and angle your part needs. Bulunmaz makes radius, V and fly-cutting tools in natural diamond and MCD, to your drawing, and resharpens them when the edge is worn.

When diamond is the right choice
Diamond turning suits acrylic, polycarbonate, aluminum, copper, brass, nickel-plated molds and infrared crystals. It does not suit bare steel, which is why steel molds are nickel-plated first. Send us your material and drawing, and we'll tell you what we can make.
Who we supply
Bulunmaz makes and supplies diamond tools for optics makers and mold shops that run their own diamond turning machines. We do not diamond-turn parts for customers. If you run the machine, we supply the tool for it.
